Cats and Rats. The insane math problem.

Hi everyone. So today in math class, my teacher gave us(the class) a homework assignment. I don't want answers from you, but I do want you to think about this. Here it is:

6 cats can kill 6 rats in 6 minutes. If 6 cats can kill 6 rats in 6 minutes, how many cats could kill 100 rats in 50 minutes?

Okay, well, I hope you enjoyed this question. I know I did. Don't be afraid to give it a try. It may be complicated, but it sure is fun. That's all I have to say for now, but I'll post something later. Bye!

  1. Okay, so after a night of research, we found an answer.12. It takes 12 cats to kill 100 rats in 50 minutes. I would try to show you if I could, but it involves two charts and a lot of time.
